Review:
This is a wonderful combination of Manga and Anime art mixed together in bright full page colour... This art book basically runs like a quick summery of the Manga series, showing where the Anime ties in or where it slightly differs... It also has the full coloured pages that are grey scaled in the English and Japanese manga! as well as the chapter illustration also in full colour on there own page... Almost all of the images are by Rumiko and the whole thing is laid out like a manga. It also has promotional Illustrations all by Rumiko. The colour anime chara design is of the Anime chara, and this is not to say they aren't nice, the artist has stuck VERY close to Rumico's own chara's. It also has snippets of the beginning and end seines I think... There is an interview with the voice actors and I think one of the key animators or background artist's I'm not sure... Then there is the wonderful Rumiko black and white chara design for all the main chara...
This book just knocked me away, Rumiko was one of my first loves when it comes to Manga, I love her simple line manga! I thought Ranma 1/2 was good but I love Inu-Yasha, And Rumico's women/girls just rock, she just makes them so real and you cant but help fall in love with her true to life chara in some wacky adventure! I love her art and I love her stories! She has a wicked sense of hummer that cracks me up and a sense of comic timing that out matches anything else I've ever read... Where as Ranma 1/2 seems to have no end of hummer, Inu-Yasha has hummer when it's needed but holds a darker serious note that just warms your heart as it makes you laugh... but that's the manga... This book rocks! it's as simple as that.

Review:
This is the artbook for Harukanaru Toki no Nakabe, (I think it might have some images from other manga's by the artist but I'm not sure) I've not read the manga but to me it looks like it might be something like Fushigi Yugi, with lots of really nice looking guys (all with stones somewhere on their person) who all seem to revolve around one pathetic looking school girl... Not like that is going to stop is drooling at the guys...
The artwork is pretty standard but the colour work is just wonderful, clear with good poses.

This book is how Artbooks should be... no text at all other than on the last page ^_^ all images are full colour and the black and white are great as well...
Also anyone a fan of "The Heroic Legend of Arislan" (or how ever it's spelled) you will love this, the artwork is very detailed and oozing with bright colours... there is nothing I can really say about this artbook other than to buy it if you like the front cover, you will NOT be disappointed with it's exhalent!
This book is also printed Left to right!

B&W: 7 - illust info
Text info: Japanese
Translation: Very little of any text
Size: A4 Large
Printed: 1996

ISBN: Doesn't have one

Review:
This is a very soft coloured artbook, the images have an almost dream like quality to them, I cant name some of the manga in this book unfortunately, but if you like the cover then you will like the rest.
It has a feel of Kamimura Sachiko (above) but with the softness of Kaimu Tachibana (below), it's another book that you really cant be disapointed with.
I bought it on a whim and I'm glad I did! it's very pretty and awe inspiring!

Text info: Japanese, English & Latin?
Translation: Nope

Review:
These illustrations are great, full colour pages. The chara are a little young looking for my liking with HUGE eyes, boys and girl... but there is no faulting the artist's skill.
Some really nice touches are double pages with the original colour images at one side, and a clean cut anime style image at the other, it's just fascinating! even the Black & White work is exhalent and very well presented!
This books is a must for anyone! I love it ^_^

Review:  I bought this book about 30 mins after my first Artbook (Tokyo Babylon). All images are either full page or a double spread, a few contain 2 or 4 images a page. All images in this book are printed on exhalent quality paper to the highest degree. Some of the images have Shonen ai suggestions, but the women's eyes are so large they all look stunned. Mostly dealing with a few Chara, with some odd illustrations thrown in. There is only one word that sums up this book... Beautiful...

MANGA REVIEW: Only 8 pages long, with the odd coloured eyes guy talking to a woman about something emotional, strikes me as being a little Vampirick in quality. I would love to own some more of Yung's work, but don't know anything about it.

Size: Large A4
Printed: 1995
Cover:
ISBN 4-09-199701-5

Review: Review: Most images are full page with some double, also a 4 page fold out and 2 double pull outs... Most of the more popular Images here also some I've not seen, Very nice, if the images are thrown about online a lot it's still nice to have, the Black and White pages are not that good as far as chara design goes, but then I cant understand Japanese so it's pretty naff to a non reader, but the colour bits make up for it...
I have no idea what possessed me to bid for this seen as I'm not a huge fan of FY... but it is a lovely book!

Illustrations of Reiko Shimizu
(I'm not sure of the name of this art book)

Artist; Reiko Shimizu

Attributes; Dust-Jacket with gold embossing. Reads Left to right

Pages: 104
Colour: 104 - All pages in colour, including colour momo prints.
B&W: 24 Coloured mono and duel colour prints
Text info: Mostly Japanese, v-little English
Translation:  Not really needed (but knowing more about the manga might help)
Size: V-Large A4
Printed:
Cover:
ISBN 4-592-73200-6

Review: I have no idea to the name of the manga that this art book is mostly featuring. It's got a girl in it who looks like a boy and male chara that look more feminine than she does. (I found this fact rather ironic, seen as it's mainly the guys who look like women :P)
All the colour prints are just lush, and almost all of them are full page with a double sided pull out in the middle, the double mono pages are purple, pink or blue and are the description and character info on the manga in question and title pages. At the back it includes images from other manga's by the artist. Most of the miscellaneous images seem to involve cat's and tigers.
All the artwork is astounding and I have a slight thing for pastel illustrations, some of the illustrations I'm tempted to take out and frame! I have seen Reiko Shimizu's work around the internet, and always liked them... This is another one of those art books you get out and show people to impress them, it's wonderful.
I originally thought this was a Yaoi Artist and book but I was mistaken, there are a few nice Shonen-ai images but it looks mostly straight stuff that you don't mind looking at :P

Review:
If you loved the manga, then this is the book for you, it's chocked full of all the pretty colour images. Though the first pages are of the two boy's who take over the original 3 (Those manga were never printed in English as far as I know)
The 2 little manga in the back of the book are cute, or you can figure out whats happening in the first one, but the 2nd one is a little baffling :P

(This book in not in the yaoi section, cos I know the artist does do Yaoi, this title doesn't contain any)

This is a brilliant artbook! the images in it was great! and the B&W section isnt boring and on the same high quality paper as the colour images.
It also came in a opaque plastic case with a dragon on it to keep the hard back book safe.

If you have only seen the Anime, then the artwork is a little different, but it doesnt really matter, the artwork is great ^_^

Review:
This is a great artbook, that huge, stuffed full of images and little else ^_^ there is also a nice image of Naruto under the Dust-Jacket.
All the artwork refers to the manga, and there is a how-to drawing bit.

The black and white bit is mostly taken up by image info, but that's the only irksome but.
